this family had to pay nearly 3,000 euros because of an error, “our daughter burst into tears”

As they were regarding to board the plane that was to take them to Orlando, Florida, the Millers had a very bad surprise: they were prevented from entering!

The Miller family had excitedly arrived at Birmingham Airport on May 30, only to be told by airline KLM that they had been checked in on a return flight instead of the outward flight following a booking error.

“At that point our seven-year-old daughter burst into tears and our 13-year-old son wasn’t very happy either, neither were we,” dad Sheldon told Birmingham Live. So that the trip might still take place, he was forced to pay almost 3,000 additional euros for an alternative flight with Aer Lingus as well as a hotel for the night.

“You can’t charge people full round-trip fare and only book half a trip, continually keep customers in the dark and expect them to shut up,” he said. he adds.
