The Spanish Popular Party continues to surf on sensitive topics to increase its chances in the 2023 legislative elections. The PP is finalizing the details of a proposal for a State pact on defense and security which will be transferred this week to all parliamentary groups in Congress in view of the NATO Summit, which will take place on June 29 and 30 2022 in Madrid. “In view of the next NATO summit, we are going to ask the rest of the political forces to join us in asking for a guarantee of protection for the entire national territory, in particular non-peninsular territories, such as Sebta and Mélilia” . The reference to “non-peninsular territories” includes, in particular, Sebta and Mélilia.
