According to a recent report, Adobe is starting to test a free version of Photoshop on the web, which would be available to all users.
According to reports The Vergethe company is currently testing this free version in Canada, where lUsers can access the online version of Photoshop using a free Adobe account.
In this regard, Maria Yap, vice president of digital images at Adobe, said that “we want to make it more accessible and easier for more people to try and experience the product.”
It should be remembered that Adobe released a web version of Photoshop last October, introducing a very simplified version of the program, where only basic actions might be performed. Over time, it has been adding new features, but it is still far from offering the functionalities that the program has in its entirety.
As they point out from The Verge, the objective with this version is to make the application more accessible, and captivate users who want to pay for the full version of it.
At the moment it is unknown when this web version of the program will be launched in other parts of the world, while the company continues to add more tools to it.
