The Netherlands host Wales to move away from the top of the European Nations League

The Netherlands national team will host its Welsh counterpart, in the confrontation scheduled to take place at 9:15 pm today, Tuesday, in the fourth round of the 2022-2023 European Nations League.

The Netherlands is at the top of Group D standings with 7 points collected from winning two matches, not receiving any defeats, achieving a single draw, scoring 8 goals and receiving 4 goals.

Wales is ranked fourth and last in the group standings with one point, following losing to Poland and Wales, respectively.

The Netherlands team opened its campaign with a big victory over its host Belgium, 4-1, at the “Beaudouin Stadium”, in the first round of the group stage competitions.

The Dutch national team also defeated its host Wales 2-1 in the match that was held between them at Cardiff City Stadium, in the second round of the European Group IV matches of the first level of the European Nations League.

Then the Netherlands team achieved an exciting draw with its Polish counterpart, with two goals each, in the confrontation that took place at the Feyenoord Stadium, in the third round of Group D in the group stage of the European Nations League competition.

On the other hand, Wales scored its first point in the current edition of the European Nations League, with a draw with Belgium in the last round, following it fell to the Netherlands 2-1 in the match that was held between them at Cardiff City Stadium in the second round of competitions, and preceded it by defeating the same result once morest Poland.
