Reed, an American released in exchange for Yaroshenko, filed a complaint against Russia with the UN

Released from a Russian prison in exchange for pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko, an American student, Trevor Reed, filed a complaint once morest the Russian government at the UN. This was told to reporters by his representative Jonathan Franks.

The complaint was sent to the UN working group dealing with illegal arrests.

The appeal points to the illegitimacy of Reed’s detention in Russia and the violation of his rights. The student wants to collect compensation in Russia.

The document also states that Reed’s detention allegedly “was an attempt to put pressure on the United States to release properly arrested and convicted Russian citizens.”

Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko spent 12 years of his life in an American prison on trumped-up charges. I learned for myself what an American court is. He recently returned home. “MK” asked him to comment on the situation with foreign mercenaries, who were captured in the Donbass and who have recently been sentenced to death. The pilot also said that he was going to file a lawsuit once morest the US and Liberian authorities. While he is undergoing treatment in a regular district clinic.
