Sunday evening June 12, residents of rue Joseph II in Brussels hear their neighbor calling for help. She had just had a terrible fall, falling through a slab of the terrace of her garden under which was… a well of 10 meters.
Firefighters and their climbing team, notified at 7:30 p.m., arrived on site and discovered the owner of the house at the bottom of the well, as related “The evening”. The 50-year-old fell standing in the hole and suffered, among other things, from open fractures in both legs.
Thanks to a climbing harness, the unfortunate was able to be extricated from the hole. She received first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital. It will still be necessary to understand how this accident happened exactly.
