Robbie Fowler pecks Manchester United regarding how they strengthened the army badly For example, the “Red Devils” just buy players because they don’t want people. That goes with the rival team, etc.
Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has taunted Manchester United for failing to reinforce their squad in the past until they might write a book regarding it.
Over the past several seasons, Manchester United have often been blamed for their poor execution of reinforcement plans that resulted in a detrimental effect on the team. Indeed, they were previously interested in Benfica forward Darwin Nunet as well, but it turns out the Uruguayan star is now moving to Liverpool.
Fowler said through his own column in The Mirror, the city’s media. “With Liverpool at the moment, it’s almost as if Darwin Nunez joins the squad for a world-record fee. What surprised me was the fact that Manchester United were trying to cut the front during the negotiations.”
“I can assure you that the people of Anfield will be quite worried. Because it may cause both the salary and wages to skyrocket even more. There isn’t a single agent that won’t take that issue. (Referring to Man Utd’s interest in Nunez as well) as a bargain in negotiations for a higher-value contract.
“For me, Manchester United are looking at the situation behind the scenes it underscores why this might be another great reinforcement move for Liverpool. Including an indication of important issues in the search for new players, new additions to the army. and new excitement which is always being overlooked.”
“I don’t want to make it harsh, but Manchester United have been able to write a book regarding how they shouldn’t have been doing their recruiting over the past several seasons. You don’t want a player like that to be with an opposing team?”
“It’s true that Cristiano (Ronaldo) is doing a good job, but they signed him just because he might have moved to Manchester City? That’s clearly catastrophic. Alexis Sanchez’s case is the same, no, not the same. His case was 10 times worse than it might have been.”
“That deal[to sign Alexis]it reinforces everything that went wrong at Old Trafford, how much did they lose? His wages are around £500,000 a week. And I’ve read that in comparison they cost £20m for him to score one goal!”
“What’s worse than that? (Meaning worse than Alexis’ performance) is that it’s not just regarding destroying Manchester United’s pay structure, it’s regarding smashing them to nothing. That’s why their goalkeeper (meaning David de Gea) can earn £400,000 a week. And a midfielder like Pogba has earned more money even though he hasn’t played for half of the season[of the season].”
