French striker Karim Benzema, Real Madrid’s striker, spoke regarding his frank opinion regarding the Egyptian and Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah.
Benzema said, in an interview with the famous French magazine “France Football”, “Mohamed Salah is a very talented player, he is one of the best players in the world.”
He added, “Salah reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo, he is a useful player for this team, and for any team in the world.”
“It is always good to see a teammate of yours who is doing well,” the France international added.
It is worth noting that the first football club in which Karim Benzema played was only 50 miles from his home, in Bron-Terrillon, an eastern suburb of Lyon, which has a population of 40,000. It is known as a “den” for crime, and was established in the sixties of the last century, to receive immigrants from North African countries, and it witnessed motorcycle races and other things.
It is reported that Karim Benzema, or as he was nicknamed among his family and close friends “Coco”, grew up in a difficult environment, but unlike many of the people of that region, he was a quiet and shy boy, and he loved football, as the ball did not leave his hands and feet.
