Today, Sunday, an Air Cairo plane flying from Sohag International Airport to Kuwait was forced to make an emergency landing at Jeddah Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, due to an emergency technical malfunction during its flight that had to land at the nearest airport for repair.
The pilot of flight SM405 was surprised by the technical failure during the flight, and he had to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia, and all necessary measures were taken to maintain the comfort, safety and security of the passengers, and meals and drinks were provided to them until an alternative plane was provided to transport them from Jeddah to Kuwait following a delay of several hours.
The return flight from Kuwait Airport to Sohag was informed that the flight was delayed by several hours, due to the emergency landing and the provision of an alternative plane.
