A dry tree lets itself be twisted in the wind, in a corner of the plateau with dark red walls. It will soon bloom once more, thanks to Portuguese fado, the dance of broken souls and the words of poets. Everything here erects the beginnings of a new beauty, in the celebration of an incandescent love. In response to the pandemic and impossible mourning, Amore celebrates Portugal, its contradictions, its melancholy and its joy, life itself. Crazy dog of the international scene, crowned with the Europe New Theatrical Realities Prize, the Olimpici Prize or the Critics’ Prize, Pippo Delbono coordinates in rage and tears an anthology of flashes, a whole carnival of human comedy. After Il Silenzio, Dopo la battaglia, Orchidées or La Gioia, he returns to the Rond-Point as a master of ceremonies dressed in white, to deliver a love song to the staggering paintings.
