Pro-golfer Peter Uihlein (32) shouts “Fore, fore!”. This means as much as “Warning!” if a golfer has made a shot in the direction of an unsuspecting golfer or spectator. “Fore,” Uihlein yelled at the start of the controversial Saudi-funded LIV golf tournament in London on Saturday.
With his tee shot at the seventh par 4 hole, Uihlein hits a fan. At least that’s what it looks like. The man suddenly falls to the side in slow motion and collapses. Then he pauses for a moment, rolls backwards onto the grass and throws his legs up in the air.
He got a signed glove
Shocked looks around him, and golfer Uihlein also seems stunned. Did he actually just hit a spectator in the head who then went knocked out? No!
The video shows the ball hitting the grass, very close to the viewer. He then allows himself a joke and pretends that the ball hit him in the head.
A cinematic performance. Shortly therefollowing, the prankster gets up once more and is happy regarding the fun he has allowed himself to have. Uihlein also seems relieved. And not only that: He is said to have given the prankster a signed glove. (kes/jmh)
