Moore, Mariners left Boston lying

SEATTLE — Dylan Moore singled to center field off Boston reliever Hansel Robles in the bottom of the ninth, giving the Seattle Mariners a 7-6 victory over the Red Sox on Saturday.

The Mariners entered the bottom of the ninth trailing 6-5 following Seattle native Bobby Dalbec broke a tie at 5 with a solo home run to left for Boston in the top of the inning.

Abraham Toro tied it for Seattle with an RBI single that drove in JP Crawford, and Jackie Bradley Jr. failed to catch Moore’s single, which drove in Sam Haggerty to seal the victory.

The teams split the first two games of the series.

Paul Sewald (3-1) got the win for the Mariners. Robles (1-2) took the loss.

For the Red Sox, Puerto Rican Christian Vázquez 4-1. Dominican Franchy Cordero 4-0.

For the Mariners, the Dominican Julio Rodríguez 5-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs. The Venezuelan Eugenio Suárez 3-2.
