[포쓰저널] On the 11th, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the founding of Shinhan Bank, in the Han River Park area in Seoul, the ‘Shall we run together?’ It was announced on the 12th that a blogging event was held.

Plogging is a compound word of the Swedish words ‘Polcka upp’ (pick up) and ‘Jogga’ (jog), and it refers to environmental protection and social contribution activities that take care of your health through jogging and at the same time pick up trash.

The event was designed to inherit the entrepreneurial spirit that Shinhan Bank’s opinion leaders (S-Force, Young-Force) wanted to coexist with the local community that Shinhan had walked with on the 40th anniversary of its founding. The 60 employees who participated in the event walked and ran from Ichon Hangang Park to Mangwon Hangang Park, picking up trash around the Han River.

In particular, Shinhan Bank President Jin Ok-dong also attended the plogging on this day and encouraged the employees. Shinhan Bank explained, “Chairman Jin visited without prior notice in order not to be burdened as it was an event held voluntarily by opinion leaders.

CEO Jin said, “It was a meaningful activity that gave pride to the employees who attended today’s blogging event and aroused awareness to other employees.” I will do my best to become a Shinhan for everyone.”
