America confirms the Biden administration’s commitment to a two-state solution

Today, Saturday, US Assistant Secretary of State Barbara Leaf affirmed the commitment of the administration of President Joe Biden to the two-state solution.
Leaf said, when meeting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah, that her delegation’s mission to the region is to prepare for the visit of “Biden, who wants to meet Abbas and discuss strengthening Palestinian-American partnership and relations and finding ways to stop the escalation in the region and move to the political horizon.”
And Lev expressed, according to what was reported by the official Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the US administration’s keenness to create the appropriate environment with the aim of giving hope to the Palestinians and all the peoples of the region.
The agency stated that, during the meeting, they discussed “the latest developments and the situation that events in the Palestinian territories have reached.”
