In 2017, the momentum of the presidential election increased in the legislative elections. After Emmanuel Macron’s 24% in the first round of April, his party had gathered 32% of the vote in June, before obtaining a resounding majority. But five years later, the situation is quite different. The latest polls are indeed giving the presidential majority a hard time.
