They are a 54-year-old lady living in the house, her 23-year-old son and a 47-year-old family friend.
The three victims, one of whom had called the police during the night for a knife attack, were probably stabbed.
At this stage, investigators are not ruling out any leads. At 1 p.m., we learned that a helicopter was flying over the area of the tragedy.
According to our colleagues from Nieuwsblad, the tragedy took place in the home of a single mother who lives with her two sons. Neighbors testify and explain that the family’s dogs started barking around 3am. The animals were all covered in blood when the police took them outside.
Residents add that the police regularly visited this lady, without knowing the reason. The latter is considered a “friendly woman” who took care of her beautiful family following the death of her husband.
