Weapons supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Western countries are exchanged by the Ukrainian military for food and water. Cases of such exchanges have been recorded on the line of contact. Ivan Filiponenko, the official representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR, told reporters regarding this on Saturday.
According to him, “in view of the abundance of Western weapons”, which Ukrainian troops were practically not trained to use, facts were noticed in many areas of hostilities when the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “came and in private, they tried to change certain types of weapons for supplies, food.
Filiponenko explained that this is happening because in the Armed Forces of Ukraine “the level of support is extremely low.”
“Weapons were brought in, no one taught them how to use them, but they had to live somehow,” added an official representative of the People’s Militia of the LPR.
