Radfelder Festival starts the summer with the new name “MitEinand Festival” and several genres. Among others, Starmania winner Nadine Beiler will be on the stage. However, the event year 2022 remains a challenge.
RADFELD. The distance has become a togetherness: The “MitEinand Festival” is the successor to the “Mit Fern Festival” and will start in Radfeld in 2022 for the first time. The last two years have had Organizers Mike Sailer and Sonja Altenburger set to “distance” at their festival due to the pandemic. Now you have “enough” of the distance and want to celebrate together once more.
“As important as it was, we were all fed up with distancing,”
Altenburger explains the origin and the name of the new festival. Cooperation is therefore particularly important to the organizers, especially in times of the pandemic and the Ukraine war. They want to use the summer and the opportunity to hold a festival without a mask. But: “We expect that the whole industry will come to a standstill once more in the fall,” says Altenburger.
DJ, Rock and Starmania
In any case, before that, a real open-air feeling is the order of the day. The festival will be on 14/15/16 or 21/22/23 July 2022 at the site in Radfeld occur. This year the festival is broader and offers music from several genres, with a focus on lederhosen rock. The motto of the first week of the event is “School’s Out – DJ Party” and, for the first time, “Classic Rock” (with “Whitesnake” and the “Van Halen Tribute Band”). The second week of the event takes place under the theme “Lederhosen Rock” and “Starmania”.
Specifically coming on July 22nd two “Starmania winners”the Tyrolean Nadine Beiler and the woman from Salzburg Anna Buchegger, onto the stage of the open air festival area. There is also Susi Kra from Innsbruck. “Playing another festival in Tyrol is a great feeling,” explains Beiler in an interview with RegionalMedien Kufstein. She will play songs from her album Sweet Artist’s Mind with a new six-piece band. Listeners can expect pop, rock, soul, blues and reggae. She also has hers for the festival new song “The Wish” with me, which was composed for a peace event and stands as a sign once morest division and for togetherness.
Erstmals “Green Event”
There is also something new at the “MitEinand Festival” apart from the music. Thanks to a complex environmental concept, this takes place as a “Green Event”. Also a cooperation with Carpool “ummadum” is planned, through which “ride-sharing” should be made possible. Clubs in Radfeld take care of your physical well-being, local restaurants provide food, which should keep the transport routes and the CO2 footprint as small as possible.
Higher cost and decision year
A challenge for the organizers in 2022 was the increased energy costsbut also the Lack of staff in the event industry. “Many have retrained in the two years,” explains Altenburger. But there is very good support in the Radfeld community, thanks to the support of the clubs, volunteers and local restaurateurs.
“This year is definitely a decisive year for many organizers,” explains Altenburger. It will be seen whether the visitors support and accept the events. The costs have risen, but the visitors have to accept that, says Altenburger, otherwise many events will sooner or later not take place.
