Al-Marsad newspaper: Engineer Muhammad Al-Khalifa told the story of his construction of an underground mosque without pillars in the form of a cavernous cave in Al-Rass 15 years ago.

In statements to Al-Ikhbariya channel, he said: “The mosque was built of sand and mountain stones, over which concrete was poured.
He pointed out that the mosque was designed in an engineering way that allows its lighting and conditioning without the use of electricity, and continued: “7 slots were made according to the paths of the sun, which allowed the place to be illuminated through solar energy.”
He pointed out that the mosque relies on natural ventilation and has been receiving worshipers since its inception until now.
