“Yesterday some videos were made public where Petro and the politicians around him show that they are a criminal gang”, expressed Rodolfo Hernández in his first trill. Immediately, he stated that the videos made it clear “that they have no limit, that they are willing to do anything to come to power, to go over anyone, to break any principle.”
Later, the presidential candidate of the League of Anti-Corruption Rulers made a sensitive statement. “At this moment I am certain that my life is at risk.. It is clear that we can expect anything, even the most serious, from a political group that behaves like a criminal gang,” said the engineer.
For this reason, Rodolfo Hernández announced that, for his safety, he had made the decision to cancel all his public appearances until June 19, also with the aim of “guaranteeing the possibility of a democratic election.”
“All Colombians have the responsibility of not allowing them to end democracy. That’s how they start and we fear the worst regarding how it might end,” said Rodolfo Hernández. Finally, he made an “urgent call for the union of all Colombians to defend democracy.”
