Goalkeeper comes from Halle – Dynamo gets Sven Müller! – 3rd division

A week before the start of the pre-season, Dynamo has a goalkeeper once more: Sven Müller (26) comes from third division competitor Hallescher FC, signed until 2024!

“I am very happy regarding the move to Dynamo Dresden and looking forward to the coming season. With the power of its fans and the great tradition, the club is a real house number in German football. That’s what really appealed to me regarding this move,” said Müller. “I will do my best to become an important factor in the upcoming, hopefully successful, season.”

The 1.90 meter chicken moved from Karlsruhe to HFC two years ago and quickly became number one. Last season, Müller was slowed down by a fracture in his ankle, which is why he only made seven appearances this season.

Nevertheless, Halle wanted to extend the expiring contract with the native of Cologne. But he rejected the new HFC offer, instead opting for Dynamo.

BILD caught Müller on Thursday as he marched to the training center with his girlfriend Kim and his advisor.

Head of sport Ralf Becker: “With Sven Müller we have signed an experienced third division goalkeeper. He has shown that he can play at a strong level and has everything we want for this position. He has a high sense of responsibility, is responsive and confident in the game. We trust him to play a crucial role with us.”

Despite his commitment, the SGD is planning another newcomer in this position. Because with Kevin Broll (contract nullified by relegation), Anton Mitryushkin, Marius Liesegang (loan expired) and Patrick Wiegers (end of career), all four previous keepers are no longer available.
