Attacking player Sarpreet Singh is leaving FC Bayern for good following being loaned out to Nuremberg and Regensburg. According to information from the ‘DeichStube’, the 23-year-old New Zealander (nine international matches) is moving to Bundesliga promoted Werder Bremen.
Singh came to Munich three years ago but only made two professional appearances there. In the past season, the left-footed player played 27 games for Jahn Regensburg, mainly on the offensive flanks, where he scored 15 points (six goals, nine assists).
Werder’s managing director Klaus Filbry announced yesterday: “We will announce another transfer shortly, this time in the offensive area. We have a very exciting, creative player who will come to us.” It should be Sarpreet Singh.
