At least 1 dead, 10 injured, 5 in critical condition after car crashes into Berlin shopping street

German police said at least one person was killed and more than 10 injured, five of whom were in critical condition, following a car plowed into a crowd on a bustling shopping street in Berlin’s west district. “It is believed that a man drove his car into the crowd. It is unclear whether this was an accident or a deliberate act,” police said, according to Archyde.com, adding that the man was detained at the scene.

A police spokesman said the man drove his car into a store on the bustling Tauentzienstrasse and smashed the store’s glass windows.
