USA: 10-year-old girl shoots woman and is arrested
A 10-year-old girl has been arrested in Florida in connection with the killing of a woman. More than a week earlier, authorities said the girl had shot and killed a woman who had gotten into an argument with her mother.

Orlando police said the girl would be charged with manslaughter. She was transferred to a juvenile detention center following her arrest. The girl’s mother was arrested last week on charges of manslaughter through gross negligence, child neglect, negligent custody of a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.

According to the police, the woman got into an argument with the 41-year-old victim in front of a residential building. She handed her daughter a bag from which she took the gun and shot it twice. The 41-year-old later died in hospital.
