Thirty-fifth Day in the Philippines for Adventurers of Koh-Lanta: The Maudit Totem. Last eliminated, Nicolas goes to the residence of the final jury and attracts the wrath of his former comrades. “I want him to assume his strategy, but he hasn’t,” said Anne-Sophie, who did not hesitate to call the man “traitor“. “It’s really a hate speech“, retorts, for his part, Nicolas.
On the camp, three men and three women are still in contention. The adventurers are preparing to compete in the last test of comfort. This will notably give access to a burger with fries, a brownie and a night in a hotel to whoever wins it. “The brownie, I see it smoking next to my plate“, Amber dreams mouth watering.
To end on a high note, adventurers are invited to try their hand at the famous five-stage course. The men must take up the challenge with a six-kilo bag on their backs while the girls carry a three-kilo bag. Each candidate eliminated during the test is forced to give his bag to one of the adventurers still in the running. Despite the 18 kilos he is carrying at the end of the race, François emerges as the big winner. “Today I was able to stand out (…). I feel like I’m at the end of the physical limitsays the firefighter. This is my best victory since the start of Koh-Lanta.” To accompany him in his comfort, François chooses Géraldine, dean of the adventure. “She showed us her physical and mental strength from the start“, continues François who insists on “strength of character“of his comrade who takes him in his arms.”There’s a frustration because I didn’t win myself but it’s a huge gift he gave me today.“
François and Géraldine return to their heavenly place. A cocktail awaits them, as well as a swimming pool, a bath, a cozy bed and a king’s dish. 100% comfort. In the suite there is also a mirror. And there is the “big shock“, launches Geraldine. “I feel like I took another ten years.”
Then comes the last immunity test. The goal? Hold three plates on a rail using a rope. Winner of the event, Bastien qualifies for the orientation test. “It was the most difficult test of Koh-Lanta mentally“, explains the young man. For his part, Jean-Charles looks serious. Arrived last, the adventurer has a voice once morest him. “I came to test my limits and there I see a beautiful one and it doesn’t make me happy. I always thought I had a big mind. And, realizing that what I thought was my strong point is actually my weak point. It’s disappointing.“
As during the comfort of François and Géraldine, a mirror invites itself on the camp. “JI’m not used to it. Me, I’m rather fat, says Jean-Charles. You feel like you’ve been sucked in.” For her part, Amber is surprised to see that she has “no chest at all“. “After, the hips I know it will come back in two tartiflettes“, she says with humor.
Adventurers come to the council with the greatest of uncertainties. Who will leave tonight? Ballots are open. After counting, it is Olga who sees Denis Brogniart putting out his torch. “It’s hard to leave because the adventure is beautiful, hard and huge“, she says. “When you’re in that place, you say to yourself that it’s over.“
The five adventurers to participate in the orientation test next week are therefore François, Ambre, Géraldine, Jean-Charles and Bastien.
By way of conclusion, the teaser for the next episode of Koh-Lanta makes our mouths water. The two adventurers who have not found the famous dagger will have the opportunity to compete in a second orientation test which will determine which of the two losers will exceptionally be able to win their ticket for the future. And, to end on a high note, this time there will be not three but four adventurers on the emblematic poles of Koh-Lanta. The fourth post will however be “damn“, declares Denis Brogniart. A great first in the history of Koh-Lanta.
