During her visit as a guest in one of the meetings, the Yemeni artist and media person, Arwa, burst into tears live on the air when the conversation revolved around her country, and she was asked by the media if she intended to return home.
Arwa said: “I am thinking that I will have a house in Dubai and I will have a house in Saudi Arabia, but not once did I plan to have a house in Yemen despite my love for my country and my stubbornness to my land. For example, the Lebanese citizen is looking to return to his country in the end,
But this does not happen with the Yemeni citizen, because he is looking for a country that gives him support and stability, and those who are looking for him in another country, as the hope of returning to her country is cut off.”
And she added: “Unfortunately, there are many people who change their nationalities and completely dispense with them and hide their origins from Yemen, and they have a right. I do not blame them, not because Yemen does not honor us to belong to it, but they need support from another place, they need support that we do not have a country to offer us.”
And she continued, “The homeland is in our hearts, but on the ground for us it does not exist, so the story is that you think that when I grow up, I must return to my country, it does not exist with us.”
