Andrew Masters, a YouTuber who has been sponsored by Sweetwater for a long time, is finally at Sweetwater’s recording studio! But this episode is not a Studio Tour, but the second in his “Make More Music” series of videos.
In order to motivate himself to devote himself to music production, Andrew started this new series. The first part was completed in his home studio, and the second part was recorded at Sweetwater Studio A, where the famous drummer Nick DVirgilio and the staff of Sweetwater were recorded. With help, Andrew Masters restored the drums of Adele’s latest single “Can I Get It”.
The equipment library of Sweetwater Studios is naturally first-class luxury. The Rupert Neve 5088 32-channel console sits in the control room, and the drum recording microphone is extravagantly selected Telefunken 251. In terms of signal processing, Andrew Masters chose to be familiar with himself and work at home. Room commonly used compression UA 1176LN. In addition to the selection of equipment, the video also shows the complete process of drum selection, microphone placement, formal recording and signal processing.
In a studio of unquestionable quality, with the recording equipment and instruments of your choice, and the blessing of first-class musicians and staff, what will the final product produced by Andrew Masters be like? Click the video to listen to it!
