For the 29th Asian Youth Squash Championship, the competition will be divided into 8 categories: Youth Men U19, 17, 15, 13 and Young Women U19, 17. years, 15 years, 13 years, with athletes from 14 countries participating in the competition: Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and host Thailand, including more than 400 This is the highest number of participants the squash association has ever held in Thailand.
Mr. Chalitrat said that the athletes who are the favorites in this competition will be athletes from Malaysia, India, Hong Kong and Pakistan. The Squash Sports Association of Thailand sent a total of 19 athletes to compete in this competition. To create opportunities for Thai youth athletes to showcase their skills at an international level in order to measure the performance they have practiced for a long time. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the association is unable to send athletes to participate in international competitions.
