Xiaomi Mi Box 4S MAX released, no longer cost-effective, using Amlogic processor- Qooah

On June 6, Xiaomi released the Xiaomi Mi Box 4S MAX and announced the launch. The Mi Box 4S MAX is positioned as a 4K flagship smart voice set-top box, the fourth-generation Mi Box flagship, priced at 499 yuan (regarding HK$590/NT$2200).

In terms of appearance, the Xiaomi Mi Box 4S MAX is a flat square with large rounded corners at the four corners. Right above is the Xiaomi logo. The overall design is simple, with a slight sense of luxury under the frosted texture.

In terms of performance, Xiaomi Mi Box 4S MAX is equipped with Amlogic S905X3 processor. According to Jingchen’s official website, the processor is manufactured using a 12nm process and is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 + ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU architecture. Xiaomi Mi Box 4S MAX is equipped with 4GB RAM+64GB ROM combination and uses HDMI 2.1 interface.

The device supports 4K/8K image quality output and dynamic HDR function. It supports 8K hard decoding, Dolby sound, DTS sound, dual-band Wi-Fi, and wireless screen projection.

In terms of software, it is equipped with MIUI for TV system and supports Mijia APP, Xiaoai classmates and Bluetooth voice remote control. You can install platforms such as Kiwi, Cloud Audio-Visual TV, Aurora, Cool Meow, etc. to meet the diversified needs of users.
