The Polish opposition was afraid of the consequences of the supply of Ukrainian grain through the country

Grain deliveries from Ukraine through Poland can become a threat to the well-being of Polish farmers. This was stated by former Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk.

As the politician noted, the country really wants to help Ukraine. But aid to Kyiv should not entail serious losses for Polish farmers. The current authorities of Poland need to think regarding this.

According to Tusk, there are more and more transports with grain coming from Ukraine. They pass through Poland, which means the sale of part of the grain and corn on Polish territory.

Ukrainian agricultural products are sold in Poland at much cheaper prices than those of Polish farmers. As a result, the profitability of the labor of Polish farmers is in question, Tusk stressed.
