The White Paper of the Presidential Transition Committee will be published on the 7th. In addition, a video white paper containing the overall appearance of the transition committee activities and interviews with President Yoon Seok-yeol, former transition chairperson Ahn Cheol-soo, and transition committee members will also be aired on KTV.

Publication of the White Paper of the Transition Committee is the last official activity of the Transition Committee under the law. According to the Act on the Presidential Takeover, the transition committee can remain within 30 days from the start of the presidential term and must disclose a white paper containing major progress before the end of its activities.

In a press release earlier, the transition committee said, “This white paper goes beyond simply listing and recording the transition committee’s activities, and reflects the spirit of the times to make it easier for the public to understand the new government’s national vision and policies.”

The white paper is 470 pages in length and consists of △Part 1, the spirit of the times and new vision, △Part 2, government goals and tasks, △Part 3, transition committee activities and policies, △Part 4, major activities for the election of the president, △Part 5, the presidential inauguration ceremony, etc. done. The title is ‘I will humbly uphold the will of the people’.

A total of 12,000 copies are expected to be discovered and distributed to various public institutions, universities and public libraries, local governments, the media, and the business community. The full text of the white paper is published in the form of an e-book on the website of the Republic of Korea ‘Policy Briefing’ and the ‘Gonggam’ website of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and can be read by anyone.

Prior to this, the transition committee transferred 12.7 million electronic documents and 82,804 websites produced during the transition committee’s operation period to the Presidential Secretariat following the end of its activities. This is the largest number of records ever recorded.
