Particularly dangerous ecstasy pills discovered at Extrema Outdoor festival

The tablet comes in the shape of an ace of spades found in card games. An ecstasy tablet bearing the image of the “Casa de Papel” mask had already been discovered on Saturday and another bearing the Mario Bros logo had been discovered on Friday. Both of these pills contained 300 milligrams of MDMA. The tablet discovered on Sunday contained between 250 and 300 milligrams of MDMA and was detected because a person who was not feeling well presented himself at an aid station.

“An ecstasy pill becomes dangerous from 125 milligrams. Another dangerous tablet containing ‘only’ 175 milligrams of MDMA was discovered last year”, continues Pieter Strauven. A 50-year-old festival-goer died last year following taking an ecstasy pill.

A test village has been specially set up this year at the festival to control drugs. All the drugs discovered during the controls are brought there and their dangerousness is known within 15 seconds.
