Following a municipal decision, security guards will prevent night access to Marin colleges.

This is to fight once morest nuisance in the courtyard of the colleges of Marin (NE). In order to prevent crowds of young people, the municipality of La Tène has decided to prohibit access to the surroundings of schools from midnight.
The municipality has published a decree stating that access to school grounds will be prohibited for pedestrians from midnight to 6 a.m., including during school holidays, with the exception of people with authorization.
The order has been put under investigation. If the measure does not arouse any opposition, it may take effect from the end of this month. Private security guards are already hired to patrol evenings and weekend nights, as reported by “Arcinfo“. Socio-cultural organizers have the task of meeting young people.
Noise
Noise pollution and security issues have affected Marin for several years. Petty crime worries the authorities and local residents are annoyed: “Every weekend, there are complaints,” the municipal councilor responsible for security told “Arcinfo”.
The situation worsened during the health crisis with the arrival of small groups of young people from other municipalities. The troublemakers are sometimes 12 or 11 years old. Mentioned are: fights, broken windows, forced locks, drugs taken and litter left behind.
