Corbak: “His return is a relief for us authorities”

In addition to the festival-goers, around 300 volunteers work each year to make the Corbak Festival flourish. All this activity before, during and following the festival attracts many people to La Chaux-du-Milieu, in the Neuchâtel mountains. Sébastien Verbeck, President of the Municipal Council of La Chaux-du-Milieu, discusses the economic benefits for the region:

The festival team recently changed hands. The former director gave way to a trio that revived Corbak following a three-year absence. Sébastien Verbeck says he is relieved to see the return of the event and Corbak’ids, its Saturday followingnoon version for families and children from 2 years old.

Public and volunteers were back in the Mountains following 3 years of absence due to the pandemic. We asked them why they had (re) come to the festival. Micro-sidewalk:
