Bouygues Telecom applies significant processing fees on many basic services to its subscribers calling its hotline, but not only. Fortunately, some of them are however free on its website.
But which wasp stung Bouygues Telecom? Looking at the operator’s tariff brochure, a host of new costs in relation to 1064 support appear. These are processing fees applied most of the time when subscribers call customer service for a particular service.
Thus, the payment of a mobile bill by credit card is now payable by calling the hotline, but remains free via the Internet. On the other hand, the termination of the mobile option at Customer Service, migrations, or even the change of IBAN, are now billed at €7.50 on all media. Charges are also applied for a termination request that does not follow outgoing number portability.
On the boxes, a duplicate of invoices already produced and sent to customers by paper mail is now invoiced at €7.50 by the operator. In the case of a shipment already made by email, it will cost 6€ in store or at 1064, while this service is free on its website.
Worse still, changing the name of the Wifi network and the Bbox password is currently billed at €9 to 1064, although it is free on the operator’s site. Ditto for the configuration of WiFi time slots, or the advanced settings of the box. These hidden costs may in the long run cause anger among subscribers.
