A video that has gone viral shows a marriage proposal taking place at Disneyland Paris being interrupted by a park agent because it was made in a prohibited area.
In the video posted on the social network TikTok, we see a man kneeling down to propose to his wife, before being grabbed the ring from the hands of a park employee with Minnie Mouse ears on his head.
Coming down the steps to the dais they weren’t supposed to be on, the employee, not quite into the spirit of Disney magic, tells her that “yes, that’s fine, but downstairs it will be even better.”
Visitors who witnessed the scene then booed the party spoiler.
Disney later apologized, “We regret the manner in which the situation has been handled. We apologized to the couple involved and offered to do it once more under the right circumstances,” they said.
