Get ready for humanity: Elon Musk releases a robot

The billionaire’s company has chosen a priority direction.

Elon Musk announced the release of the humanoid robot Optimus in September 2022.

The billionaire published a post on his social network account that in the fall of this year, the world will finally see the Tesla Bot, aka Optimus, a general-purpose humanoid robot.

In August 2021, according to the portal The Verge, the businessman told in detail what this miracle of technology from Tesla will be like. The growth of the robot is slightly less than 160 cm, it weighs 57 kg. The speed is low, only 8 km / h. The robot will be able to carry loads up to 20 kg.

The iron character will be controlled by the same artificial intelligence system that is installed on Tesla cars. It is assumed that in the future such smart assistants will replace a person in factories where dangerous and monotonous work is required.

The billionaire is actively engaged not only in the development of the future, but also follows life in the world of cinema and show business. Not so long ago, he expressed his attitude towards the conflict between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
