In their crusade once morest the decline of the future world, the Ecolo have always given a prominent place to youth. This time around, they’re back with a shocking proposition to enable all young people to enter life with a massive boost.
“ In the current context of lasting crisis, many injustices are experienced, particularly by this segment of the population that are young people”explains Rajae Maouane, co-president of Ecolo. “Young people make much more use of the social integration income (RIS). The unemployment rate is four times higher among young people. 15% of these young people are neither on the labor market, nor trainees, nor school. Some of the young people are social dropouts. We want to help them today with a very concrete proposal by giving them a universal capital of solidarity.”
