El Noba, a benchmark of Argentine cumbia, dies at the age of 25

Lautaro Coronel, the Argentine musician better known as El Noba, was in intensive care for 10 days, who on May 24 suffered a serious traffic accident following being hit by a Peugeot 208 vehicle while riding his motorcycle, at the intersection from Luis Braille and Solís streets, in Florencio Varela. Until in the followingnoon hours of this Friday his death was confirmed.

Regarding the accident, two witnesses explained that the musician was driving without a helmet and doing wheelie. Since he was hospitalized, El Noba has gone through several advances and setbacks. According to a part of last Sunday, he remained in a coma, assisted by a respirator and with “hemodynamic support with vasopressor drugs.”

“From the management of the High Complexity Hospital in Red El Cruce Dr. Néstor Carlos Kirchner it is reported: following carrying out the evaluations required for its certification, we regret to report the death of Lautaro Coronel, who remained hospitalized in the Adult Intensive Care Unit of our institution”, they reported from the venue.

El Noba, at 25 years old, had a daughter and was perceived as one of the most promising musicians of his generation, one of the benchmarks of cumbia 420, along with other names such as L-Gante and Perro Primo.
