Only 11 minutes.. Interaction on the meaning of how long it took OPEC + to announce an agreement

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media circulated reports that dealt with the record time taken by the member states of the OPEC + group to reach an agreement on the rate of oil production at its meeting, Thursday, which sparked an interaction regarding the implications of this.

Activists circulated a video clip on the state-run Saudi Al-Ekhbariya channel, in which the broadcaster touched on the time period, asking his guest, saying: “What is the nature of relations and understandings between OPEC and non-OPEC countries in these meetings that they hold under the umbrella of OPEC +, meaning 11 minutes, the last meeting is only the time.” Enough to issue such a decision and 13 minutes in the last meeting? How are these understandings going?

The “OPEC Plus” alliance had agreed to increase production by more than expected, Thursday, to be an increase of 648,000 barrels per day in next July and the same in August.

The coalition announced that it will start pumping this additional quantity starting next month and will increase it by the same amount in August, following it had previously pledged to increase production by 432,000 barrels per day in July and the two months that follow.
