Train traffic suspended between Mons and Saint-Ghislain after the discovery of a body

Rail traffic, which had been brought to a halt Thursday around 5:30 a.m. between Mons and Saint-Ghislain following the discovery of a body on the tracks, was restored first in slow motion on one track in both directions at the start of morning, and totally on two tracks following 9:30 a.m., indicated Infrabel, the infrastructure manager.

However, residual delays are still possible.

Infrabel had indicated earlier in the day that a body had been discovered on the tracks at the exit of Saint-Ghislain station in the direction of Mons. The circumstances of the death have not yet been specified.
