The candidate for the presidency of Colombia Rodolfo Hernández would win in the second round with 52.5% of the votes, this according to the data of the most recent tracking of the social research and communication consultancy GAD3 for the Great Media Alliance made up of Noticias RCN , RCN Radio and the diary The Republic.
Meanwhile, the analysis highlighted that the candidate of the Historical Pact, Gustavo Petro, would reach 44.8% of the voting intention.
In this tracking, 1,200 people were interviewed between May 30 and 31.
Favorite Hernandez
Rodolfo Hernández is the favorite among women. The former mayor of Bucaramanga would have 55% of the female vote, while Petro would reach 40.1% of the women’s vote.
Regarding the ages, Gustavo Petro is the favorite among young people. According to the analysis, the Historical Pact would take the highest percentage of the vote among voters between 18 and 24 years of age (63%). From the age of 25, the League of Anticorruption Governors is the one that seduces the most.
From the results obtained in the survey, it stands out that the engineer would prevail in the regions of Antioquia (70%), Caribe (52%), Centro Oriental (67%), Centro Sur (59%), Eje Cafetero (51%) and the Plains (78%). While the areas in which the Historical Pact would have the greatest support are Pacific (70%) and Bogotá (50%).
The survey contrasts with the survey published by the National Consulting Center (CNC) on May 31. In it, the presidential candidates who are in the second round would have a technical tie. The consultation determined that Hernández would keep 41% of the votes, while Petro would take 39%.
The tie occurs because the margin of error is 2.8%.
