Because of Lewandowski, the Barcelona president attacks Tebas | Football

Barcelona president Joan Laporta launched an attack on La Liga president Javier Tebas because of the latter’s statements, in which he warned that Barcelona might not afford to contract at the present time with Polish star Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich striker.

Argentine star Lionel Messi left Barcelona and joined Paris Saint-Germain last year, due to Barcelona’s financial problems.

Lewandowski recently announced that his career with the Bavarian team is over, and speculation has been continuing for some time regarding the Polish star joining Barca.

Laporta said – in statements to the FC Barcelona TV channel – “I would like to ask it (the League) something, which is not to comment on our ability to sign a particular player or not, as this clearly harms Barcelona’s interests.”

And Tebas had confirmed last Tuesday that Barcelona would need to get money from the sale of players in order to be able to sign with “Liva”.
