Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar scored a great goal late in the first period on Tuesday night, but it caused controversy in the process.
It’s that everyone believed that there was clearly offside on the sequence. However, the officials decided otherwise and the goal was awarded.

With that impressive shot from Makar, the Avalanche took a 3-2 lead following 20 minutes in Game 1 of the Western Final once morest the Edmonton Oilers.
At the start of the second period, we were treated to another angle on which we see that Makar does not touch the puck when it crosses the line, which explains why the goal was awarded.
