Exclusive translation: A recent study revealed that drinking two to four cups of coffee may reduce the risk of sudden death by up to a third.
The study, which was conducted on 170,000 Britons, showed that even if the coffee was sweetened with sugar, this also reduced the death rate, according to the newspaper “Daily Mail”.
The researchers looked at people who drank either unsweetened or sweetened coffee and had not drunk coffee for seven years.
They found that drinking between two to four cups a day was the optimal solution, regardless of whether or not they used sugar.
Unsweetened coffee drinkers had a 29 percent lower risk compared to non-sugar drinkers, while sweetened coffee was associated with a 31 percent lower risk.
The study added: Consuming too much sugar can lead to a range of health problems, including obesity, diabetes and other diseases.
