Ostrum AM nomme Christoph Thywissen is the post of Chief Transformation Officer

The new manager leads a transformation team made up of four employees with complementary areas of expertise such as project management, digital, regulation and ESG.

Ostrum Asset Management (Ostrum AM), a subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM), has announced the appointment of Christoph Thywissen as Chief Transformation Officer. He reports directly to Mathieu Cheula, Chief Operating Officer at Ostrum Asset Management.

In his new role, Christoph Thywissen is in charge of Ostrum AM’s transformation projects such as the development of new digital services for its clients, the optimization of data governance and the deployment of the “ESG Ostrum New Ecosystem” program ( ESG ONE). The ESG ONE program aims to implement Ostrum AM’s ESG strategy across the company and to involve each employee in its implementation. The transformation team is made up of four experienced employees with complementary areas of expertise such as project management, digital, regulation and ESG. The team can also rely on specialized consulting firms, allowing flexibility in the services offered and the ability to respond quickly to requests from Ostrum AM’s clients.

Christoph Thywissen began his career in 2001 as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, then at BearingPoint. In 2007, he joined Crédit Agricole Asset Management (Amundi) where he successively held the positions of Head of Strategic and Organizational Projects and Risk Manager in charge of diversified portfolios. He became head of risk and ROCCI of the alternative management subsidiary Amundi Alternative Investment in 2012, then head of performance measurement and attribution for the Amundi group, before joining Natixis Asset Management, which became Ostrum Asset Management, in September 2017 as Risk Manager, overseeing the management of investment, market and credit risks, monitoring compliance with investment constraints and analyzing the performance of the company’s funds. He was appointed Chief Transformation Officer in February 2022.
