Every month, the question comes up: what games will PlayStation Plus subscribers get as part of their subscription? In May, players were able to grab FIFA 22 on PS4 and PS5, Tribes of Midgard, but also Curse of the Dead Gods.

The month of June is looming and with it, the last month of PlayStation Plus as we have known it for several years. From June 22, the offer will be available in three separate subscriptions: The PS Plus Essential, which corresponds to what we have today, the PS Plus Extra, which gives access to additional games on PS4 and PS5, and the PS Plus Premium, which will offer in addition to the usual advantages of older generation games in emulation or download, as well as limited demos of upcoming games.
Will Kratos plant his ax in the PS Plus?
Until then, three games will be offered to players, and a first leak of these titles just happened. We obviously take all this with big tweezersbut the God of War of 2018 would be the flagship title of the month of June according to our colleagues from Areajugones. A huge PlayStation exclusive, recently released on PC, which received the maximum rating in 2018 in our columns, a rating confirmed by the port. In this episode, we find Kratos in Scandinavia, trying to lead a discreet life. The character has found love once more, from which Atreus was born. Sadly, the title opens with preparations for Atreus’ mother’s funeral, followed by the duo’s journey up the mountain to scatter the ashes.
Of course, the Norse gods got wind of the presence of the Greek deity, which is not at all to their liking. Thus begins an adventure made up of tensions between a father and a son who find it difficult to understand each other, mythological creatures, and particularly nervous fights. A game to do if you have a PS4, a PS5 or a PC, provided you appreciate the beat’em all. However, the presence of the game would address primarily for PS4 ownersthe title being accessible in the catalog of games offered to players with a PS5.
Plenty of combat, but in two different genres
In addition to God of War, players would be entitled to Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, an interesting fighting game, centered on teamwork. Playable solo and online, the title allows players to create their own character and enjoy ubiquitous fan service. Despite everything, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker suffers from a camera that tends to be badly placed, from a form of repetitiveness in its content, and a random loot system.
The third and final game of the selection would be Nickelodeon All-Star Brawland arena fighting game in the vein of Super Smash Bros. which relies on the characters of the famous cartoon channel. In particular, we come across Spongebob, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Garfield, Hey Arnold’s Arnold, Michat-Michien, Korra or Danny Phantom. The title has a solid gameplay, working netcode, a varied roster and a structure conducive to tournaments. Rated 14/20 in our columns, the title is slightly weighed down by sometimes borderline animations, by content that is too thin for a simple fan of the genre, and the lack of objects to use. Nothing prohibitive in short and a fun game that will satisfy fans of brawlers and Nickelodeon characters.
