Liverpool calls for investigation into the Champions League final

The English club Liverpool called on the European Football Association “UEFA” to open an investigation into what happened in the vicinity of the Stade de France, which hosted the Champions League final once morest Real Madrid, in the French capital, Paris.

The match was delayed by regarding half an hour due to tensions outside the stadium and fans entering the stadium without tickets or with fake tickets.

Thousands of Liverpool fans waited hours outside the stadium to enter it, in light of a stampede among the fans, forcing the police to fire tear gas.

Liverpool issued a statement saying: “We are extremely disappointed with the problems with entering the stadium, and with the clashes and riots that have occurred and suffered by the Liverpool fans.”

He added: “This is the biggest match in European football, and the fans should not go through the pictures we saw tonight. We demanded an official investigation into the causes of these unacceptable problems.”
