20 years ago Martha Louise is the first of two children of Harald and Sonja from Norway.
May 24 marked 20 years since the marriage of Princess Martha Louise of Norway to writer Ari Behn. Usually, we speak of a fairy tale wedding when a prince marries a young woman; here the roles were reversed even if the fiancé was far from the usual standards.
Martha Louise is the first of two children of Harald and Sonja of Norway who had to wait no less than 10 years before finally being able to formalize their love because of the non-princely origins of the bride.
Suffice to say that when their children introduced them to the chosen ones of their hearts, King Harald and Queen Sonja sided with them, uniting with regard to criticism from the press and public opinion.
