Many paradoxes were exposed to the crew of the series Rania and Sakina, which was shown last Ramadan, especially the two protagonists, Mai Omar and Ruby, while filming in the cemetery.

The director of the series, Sherine Adel, said during a telephone interview with the media, Amr Adib, on the “Al-Hekaya” program, broadcast on MBC Egypt: We encountered many situations while working in the cemeteries, and we opened a real empty cemetery, and they were required to run inside the cemetery as soon as we heard “Srina” the police, but Ruby said it’s impossible to go down to the cemetery.

Mai Omar added, during her hosting of the program: “Ruby said, O my daughter, you do not understand, women are forbidden to go to graves, it is possible for something to dress us.”

And she continued, “We filmed part of the scene in a cemetery decor, but in the clip of our going down the stairs, I grabbed Ruby by her hand and pulled her to the end of the ladder.”

The series “Rania and Sakina” revolves around a comic framework full of paradoxes between the two characters, Rania and Sakina, on their escape from the police.

Ruby embodies the role of “Sakina”, a girl from a popular area who has huge ambitions that she seeks to achieve. Ruby has been trained to drive the trailer cars that she uses in the events of the series.

As for Mai Omar, she plays the role of “Rania”, the daughter of a high-class woman whom “Sakina” meets in difficult circumstances and is very attached to her.

And the series “Rania and Sakina” written by Mohamed Salah Al-Azab, directed by Sherine Adel, and starring Ruby, Mai Omar, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Ahmed Karara, Suleiman Eid, Mohamed Otaka, Nabil Noureddine, Mohamed Radwan and Saba Al-Rafei.
